Adjustable 3 position reclining seat
A reclining seat back is a welcome feature. Babies will often fall asleep after feeding, some even snooze whilst feeding. Being able to recline your baby for their comfort makes sense. Parents don't have to take baby out of the chair while they clean up or quietly sneak out for some rest themselves. Another benefit of a reclining seat is when a baby or toddler can hold their own bottle. Sometimes they may need a helping hand keeping their bottle tilted at an angle into their mouths. By reclining them it encourages this act.
7 height positions
To achieve the slimmest fold in its class, the Chicco Polly uses the height adjustment. There are seven heights to choose from, the lowest of which makes for a smaller storage size. This high chair allows flexibility in whatever environment it is used. For example, when joining the family at the dinner table baby can sit at a comfortable distance from the table as the chair will adjust low enough to allow it to be slid under the table top. Alternatively the chair can be raised to suit a higher surface, like a breakfast bar or a parent on a stool. There are brightly coloured button on the legs that can be used to adjust the height.
5-point safety harness
Safety should be at the heart of baby high chairs and the Chicco Polly does not disappoint. The 5-point safety harness is attached securely through the rear of the back rest with anchor points. The harness passes through the seat padding and provides comfortable straps to keep a child restrained. The straps are fully adjustable to suit any size of baby through to toddler age. This means that the high chair can be kept for many months or even years without having to be replaced. You can rest assured that with a Chicco chair, if you were to leave your baby for even just one minute they would be safe.
Deep-padded, comfortable seat
With this high chair you get a padded outer cover. This serves as extra padding which enables a younger and smaller baby to sit in the chair. When they grow need more room the padding can be removed to allow extra space. The outer cover is easily wiped clean and can be quickly removed for cleaning if required. Again this adds to the value of the high chair by ensuring it suits a range of sizes over many months of a child's life.
3 position adjustable tray
The Chicco Polly comes with a removable tray that is used as a table top. There are two discrete lugs on the rear legs that provide a method of how to attach the tray to the back of the Chicco Polly highchair. This is a clever way of allowing that slim fold size for storage. The tray itself has a removable insert that can be cleaned off each time. This has handy contours that divide the tray into areas, including a place for a cup.
This highchair is fitted with castors on the rear legs. These are great for moving the chair around a room with or without a baby strapped in. When baby is eating the castor wheels can be locked in to position.
